Staffing and Rostering
Staffing Levels
ISF’s staffing levels are sufficient to meet any day-to-day requirements. These levels have been derived after careful consideration of all the clients’ requirements specific to each task
The ability to meet immediate shortfalls is achieved by cross skilling and cross training.
At the assumption of a heightened threat level or another emergency increase, staffing can be doubled / tripled efficiently and all staff are already inducted and trained at all sites.
In addition, ISF allows for a well-trained pool of casuals and has the potential to provide available staff, after site and company inductions, for use at short notice of less than one (1) hour.
Retention Rates
Retention rates for ISF employees has been calculated at approximately 80%. With extra training and development programs for 2007-8, this figure will be projected at approximately 85%. ISF believes the Industry rate could be as low as 60%, but variants would need to be considered such as:
- Type of Company
- Type of Management
- Type of Wages
- Type of Site/Area
- Site Hours (Full-Time/Part-Time/Casual Adhoc, etc…)
- Site Requirements/Duties
- No. of Employees Required
- Qualification/Training Requirements
ISF’s goals in 2007-2010 is projected to have all employees at 90%.
