Emergency Response
To go beyond conventional practices of providing separate provisions for security, advanced first aid and emergency response, ISF has the ability to supply Emergency Response Officers.
This concept of Emergency Response Officers was created as a result of clients requiring a Security and Emergency Services capability on-site or off-site, but could not justify the financial cost or low individual service productivity.
It was also created because of the request from Victoria Police as they initiated a training course called Project Griffin. All Response Officers will be cross-trained in a wide variety of fields allowing a higher standard of skills and continuity of service.
ISF has currently close working relationships with Victoria Police, Australian Counter-Terrorism Unit and other combat authorities to fulfill any client’s needs in this specialised area.
Emergency Response Officers roles include:
- Incident / Emergency Response
- IED – Search & Response
- Terrorism / Security Awareness
- First Aid – Treatment & Response
- First Aid – Trauma / Road Rescue
- Traffic Management
- Occupational Health & Safety
- Hazmat / Hazchem
- Rescue From Heights
- Confined Spaces
